This is a large pin version of the Geissele Super Semi-Automatic (SSA^®) trigger and is a semi-automatic-only version of Geissele Automatics’s Super Select-Fire trigger. The large pin dimension is 0.169 inches, whereas the standard pin dimension is 0.155 inches. The SSA is a non-adjustable combat trigger that performs like a match-grade two-stage trigger and allows precise and accurate trigger control. It is recommended for demanding applications such as Squad Designated Marksman (SDM) rifles, Law Enforcement use, and Close Quarters Battle (CQB) and mid-range carbine work.

SSA-E Trigger

I have had a heavy barrel AR-15 target rifle for a number of years. Excellent intrinsic accuracy but the trigger feel and pull left much to be desired. The SSA-E trigger-sear assembly from Arms East was easy to drop in. Essentially you remove the two parts from the lower receiver and install the new. Took me less than 15 min and the only tool I used were a set of punches. The trigger pull has much improved and I am eagerly awaiting the end of winter to try the rifle out at the range. However, dry firing the rifle is now a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended.
